Our locality Our Responsibility - A CCTV Survelliance project initiated by Smt Divya Dholay - Managing Trustee of Sankalp Siddhi Trust, Mumbai to help Versova & Oshiwara Police stations, Mumbai to aid enhancement of *Digital Surveillance* was handed over to Mumbai Police Zone 9 DCP Shri Manjunath Shinge at Oshiwara Police station . Also present were ACP - Shri Sunil Bonde , Sr PI Versova - Shri Siraj Inamdar, Sr PI Oshiwara - Smt Rajani Salunkhe, Anti Tertitorist Cell heads of Versova & Oshiwara Police Station, Versova well known social activist Dr Prakash Gidwani Ji & Bharat Sharma Ji.
In observance of ever changing dynamics of Crime in Mumbai city, utmost vigilance from General Public, Social Institutions and Police is the need of the hour.
In accordance to that Mumbai based NGO - Sankalp Siddhi Trust headed by Maharashtra BJP State Secretary and Social Media/IT Guardian Divya Dholay came forward to facilitate the digital eyes of Mumbai police by installing number of CCTV cameras and DVRs in Different alleys of Versova.
Done under the project Our Locality Our Responsibility- OLOR, by Sankalp Siddhi Trust, a NGO which always stressed the need of CCTV Surveillance in sensitive by lanes and inner pockets of the city. It is now activated in Versova & Oshiwara areas which will act as deterrent for any Criminal act.
The trust is known for its wide range welfare activities in the past at Dharavi . This time they have installed substantial numbers of CCTV cameras and DVRs in areas under the Versova & Oshiwara Police Station.
All the installations were done according to sensitive spots identified by the local police ATC team & validated by SR PI . Entire digital infrastructure will prove to be of great help for local Police in solving any future critical cases. In fact according to sources, the police team has already started deriving results from these digital cameras in their mission towards crime control.
Projects like OLOR is the need of the hour specially when Crime Against Women is on the rise in Mumbai and through this initiative Sankalp Siddhi Trust is going the right way in building trust and security for the common masses.
